OFFICE DEPOT WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS
Office Depot Europe has recently been honoured with the prestigious Reseller of the Year 2003 Award, to recognize Office Depot’s high standards and achievements within the European office products industry. Furthermore Graham Cundick, Office Depot's Senior Vice President Merchandising & Marketing Europe - who joined the company in 1990 - was honoured with the Industry Achievement Award, to recognize his outstanding and impressive contribution to the long-term success of the European office products business. The European Office Products Awards were launched in 2002 to recognise excellence within the whole industry of manufacturers, vendors and suppliers, no matter what the size of the company. That same year Office Depot was recognised with three awards, Customer Focus, Business Technology, and Lifetime Achievement honouring Irwin Helford, the retired former CEO of Viking and founder of 'Fanatical Customer Service'. The awards for the 12 different categories of this only truly pan-European awards ceremony were announced during the international 'eurOPe 2003' ceremony on June 16 in the Netherlands. These awards are seen as the highest accolade in our industry. Office Depot Europe was also runner-up for the Investing in People Award.
