Office Depot consolidated a big part of the business in Western Europe by connecting Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg into one organization. The region is managed by Wim de Goei, a seasoned Office Depot leader since 2003. The business in this part of Europe showed steady growth in both the contract and direct channels and has strengthened their offering of innovative products and services, such as launching Tech Depot in The Netherlands. To service expansion of the business and optimize the supply chain, new warehouses are built in Grossostheim, Germany and Zwolle, The Netherlands.
